Controversial Possibility

Let's take a second look at the great Ram and Goat war at the "time of the end."  We know it was fulfilled in the past by Alexander the great.  Yet, Gabriel specifically says the vision is for the time of the end, (8:17) and at the time of indignation (wrath).  Then he said, “I am here to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath. What you have seen pertains to the very end of time." (Dan 8:19)  Is it possible that the ultimate fulfillment of this great war between Persia and Greece has future prophetic significance.  Can its culmination yet be future?  It's very possible.  We know that the time of the end and the latter time of wrath has not arrived yet.  So, let's take a controversial and radical look at the possibility of a future fulfillment of this war with this last days time frame in mind.  Would it be possible for a great war between Iran and Greece occur again?  Food for thought.
