The Seas of Humanity

Watch for a great and evil end time economic and monetary system that oppresses the masses of humanity. I think we all can tell we're moving in that direction rapidly.  We're headed towards a one world, godless economic system with lightening speed.

 This system is revealed as "Mystery Babylon" in the Revelation of Jesus Christ. She will sit upon the seas, waters of humanity. (Rev.17:1,5) Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages." (v. 5)

 It is a godless economic system that rules and regulates mankind. Her ultimate delight in slaying the followers of Jesus and enslaving humanity.  The elite of the world, traders will grow rich in this world's luxury.  But at the end,  this system, she, will be destroyed by nuclear fire. (Rev. 17)

God compares the sea to the masses of perishing humanity. "But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt." (Is. 57:20 NLT)


Mystery Babylon the great sits upon many waters: One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters."(Rev. 13:1)

The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea.  ((Rev. 13:1a)  The dragon devil raises the beast Antichrist and his armies from the ocean of humanity.

America and Kurdistan Cozying Up: Prophecy Being Fulfilled

The Prophets Isaiah and Micah foresaw the "Assyrian" Destroyer 

Nineveh was the ancient Biblical capital of the blood thirsty Assyrian Empire.
 Read that, modern day Mosul Iraq.   God sent the Prophets Jonah first , and Nahum about 100 years after Jonah to Nineveh.  God called them to repent of their cruel and evil ways.  The first time they did, under Jonahs' message.  The second time they didn't, under Nahums' message.  So, God sent the great Assyrian armies down into the pit of death.  “Assyria is there with her whole army; she is surrounded by the graves of all her slain, all who have fallen by the sword. Their graves are in the depths of the pit and her army lies around her grave. All who had spread terror in the land of the living are slain, fallen by the sword."  (Ez. 22:23)

       

Assyria was known as a great "Tree of Eden" before its demise.   (Ezekiel 31:18) 
 But, according to Revelation the pit of hell will be opened (Rev. 9:2) , and the once great armies like devouring beasts will arise from the bottomless pit with the Antichrist Beast.  (Rev. 11:7, The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. (Rev. 17:8a)

America and Kurdistan Are Cozying Up. 
 This means we are seeing the means which  the rising of the great military might of the ancient Assyrian Empire is starting: The American military alliance with the Kurds. Where is this happening?  Right at the CIA headquarters of Nineveh, uh, I mean the city of Mosul.  Scarey stuff.  Hmm.. Watch!

The Kurdish forces are capturing more functioning oil resources even as we speak.  They are taking advantage of the current crisis, reshuffling of power in Iraq.  So, in our lifetimes, in front of our own eyes we are seeing the vast wealth of this ancient "Tree of Eden" being restored to world prominence.                                      Iraq conflict: Kurds seize two oilfields in north

God have mercy on America.
 By the way, just so you know.  It is my personal opinion based on 20 years of Biblical analysis of Revelation that the States are not part of the Revelation Antichrist Beast armies that fight the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior(Rev. 7:13,14). In my personal opinion the US will not fight Jesus at  Armageddon (Rev. 16:15,16).  Why?  Because the US is not a nation that ascends out of the abyss (Rev. 17:8).  Also, sadly, I have a suspicion that the US will suffer great nuclear war on our own soil. based on 2 dreams I've had.   May God have mercy on America.  But, the good news of that is the USA will not be the Beast,  Antichrist Army.  Nor are we Mystery Babylon, the Godless, last days economic system of Revelation that kills Christians (Rev. 17).  We will not fight the Coming of God Himself in the clouds of Heaven.  Mystery  Babylon will be an end time economy based on oil and world trade in the mideast.  The Antichrist will be an Assyrian, modern day Iraq (Isaiah).  A great world war will arise from the banks of the Euphrates River.  They will win and kill 1/3 of humanity with nukes. (Rev. 9)  Who will loose?  God have mercy on America is all I can say. Turn us back to Your Son, O Lord.

The Mideast military 'Beast' of Revelation looses.  

This is how the book of Revelation describes this end time military alliance under the Antichrist. (Rev. 17:12-14)  “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”  Jesus will come again.  He will save Israel.  Messiah will save the world from total destruction! 

                  "Even so, Come Lord Jesus."

Controversial Possibility

Let's take a second look at the great Ram and Goat war at the "time of the end."  We know it was fulfilled in the past by Alexander the great.  Yet, Gabriel specifically says the vision is for the time of the end, (8:17) and at the time of indignation (wrath).  Then he said, “I am here to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath. What you have seen pertains to the very end of time." (Dan 8:19)  Is it possible that the ultimate fulfillment of this great war between Persia and Greece has future prophetic significance.  Can its culmination yet be future?  It's very possible.  We know that the time of the end and the latter time of wrath has not arrived yet.  So, let's take a controversial and radical look at the possibility of a future fulfillment of this war with this last days time frame in mind.  Would it be possible for a great war between Iran and Greece occur again?  Food for thought.

The Time of the End

Daniel saw a great vision of a powerful conflict to come at the "time of the end."  The Word of God reveals: Then he (Gabriel)  said, "I am here to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath. What you have seen pertains to the very end of time. (Dan. 8:19 NLT)

The classical interpretation of this vision is that the once great Persian Empire created by Cyrus the Great in  past history  (600 BC) was a mighty, conquering ram.  Then, arose a young goat from Greece, Alexander the Great.  He wielded a huge "horn"  of military might and power.  Alexanders warriors overthrew the mighty Ram as he flew across the face of the earth.  And that is exactly what happened in history, Greece defeated Persia in 331BC.  So, we had the historical overthrow of the Persian Empire, the rise of Greece.   This is all fact, and it happened just as Daniel foresaw.  Hundreds of years later out of the eastern power base of the Greek empire arose a 'little horn."   Antiochus Ephiphanes gained power in 175BC.  He sat upon the throne in the Holy of Holies in defiance of God Most High.  This even is know as the "abomination of desolation" described in Daniel 9:27.  This man is a 'type or foreshadow' of the Antichrist to come at the 'time of the end'.  He will sit in the Holy of Holies claiming he is God (2 Thes. 2:4), and demanding that humanity worship him by taking his mark, 666 (Rev. 13:14-18).  This is the ultimate "abomination of desolation" at the time of the end that the Lord Jesus Himself warned us is coming (Mark 13:14).  Then the Lord Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords,  will come again and slay this beast Antichrist with His Spirit and the brightness of His coming. (2 Thes. 2:98) 

Jesus will restore this war torn earth and make everything right in the millennium.  "Even so, Come Lord Jesus."

The Meaning of the Vision

The angel Gabriel was sent to Daniel to tell him the interpretation.
It pertains to us, you and I, who live in the last days.  Gabriel Explains the Vision (ch. 8)

15As I, Daniel, was trying to understand the meaning of this vision, someone who looked like a man stood in front of me. 16And I heard a human voice calling out from the Ulai River, “Gabriel, tell this man the meaning of his vision.”

17As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground. “Son of man,” he said, “you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.”

18While he was speaking, I fainted and lay there with my face to the ground. But Gabriel roused me with a touch and helped me to my feet.

19Then he said, “I am here to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath. What you have seen pertains to the very end of time. 20The two-horned ram represents the kings of Media and Persia. 21The shaggy male goat represents the king of Greece,^e and the large horn between his eyes represents the first king of the Greek Empire. 22The four prominent horns that replaced the one large horn show that the Greek Empire will break into four kingdoms, but none as great as the first.

23“At the end of their rule, when their sin is at its height, a fierce king, a master of intrigue, will rise to power. 24He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause a shocking amount of destruction   and succeed in everything he does.

25He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power and succeed in everything he does. He will destroy powerful leaders and devastate the holy people.

What great wars are destined to happen at the 'time of the end'?

Daniel, the Prophet,  saw a vision of great conflict of nations that will occur at the end of days.  Here is his vision recorded in the Bible:  New Living Translation   Daniel’s Vision of a Ram and Goat (8:1-12)

1^aDuring the third year of King Belshazzar’s reign, I, Daniel, saw another vision, following the one that had already appeared to me. 2In this vision I was at the fortress of Susa, in the province of Elam, standing beside the Ulai River.^b

3As I looked up, I saw a ram with two long horns standing beside the river.^c One of the horns was longer than the other, even though it had grown later than the other one. 4The ram butted everything out of his way to the west, to the north, and to the south, and no one could stand against him or help his victims. He did as he pleased and became very great.

5While I was watching, suddenly a male goat appeared from the west, crossing the land so swiftly that he didn’t even touch the ground. This goat, which had one very large horn between its eyes, 6headed toward the two-horned ram that I had seen standing beside the river, rushing at him in a rage. 7The goat charged furiously at the ram and struck him, breaking off both his horns. Now the ram was helpless, and the goat knocked him down and trampled him. No one could rescue the ram from the goat’s power.

8The goat became very powerful. But at the height of his power, his large horn was broken off. In the large horn’s place grew four prominent horns pointing in the four directions of the earth. 9Then from one of the prominent horns came a small horn whose power grew very great. It extended toward the south and the east and toward the glorious land of Israel. 10Its power reached to the heavens, where it attacked the heavenly army, throwing some of the heavenly beings and some of the stars to the ground and trampling them. 11It even challenged the Commander of heaven’s army by canceling the daily sacrifices offered to him and by destroying his Temple. 12The army of heaven was restrained from responding to this rebellion. So the daily sacrifice was halted, and truth was overthrown. The horn succeeded in everything it did.

What does this mean?  And when will it happen?
